Mac statistics software notes

Wizard and Wizard Pro are at the Mac App Store. Wizard, with easy model development, pivot tables, and core statistics, is the latest in a number of Mac programs that have brought back some of the flavor of the exciting 1990s. There is a steady influx of new software from small developers (as well as new JMP, Stata, and SPSS versions).

If you are an SPSS user, these times are bittersweet as IBM has jumped in and skyrocketed the price, despite the free PSPP “SPSS clone” project.
